Description: A golem is large humanoid sculpture brought to “life” through magic. After forming the body, cast the Create Golem ritual (See below). The awakened golem is a powerful thing – strong, fairly intelligent and completely loyal. Golems can understand the language of their creator, but cannot read or speak. A Caster may only have one golem active at a time.

This ritual awakens a clay Golem. It lasts until destroyed or for a whole month, but may be maintained as per wards. You may only have one golem (including variations) active at one time.

Typical Casting: Greater Create Matter (6) + Lesser Create Mind (6) + Duration, One Month (11) + Subject Weight, {Varies} (v); Summoned Creature Modifier (various).
Energy Varies depending on both the power of the Golem and the power of the Caster. A 30 pound, 38pt Golem would cost a 150 caster 84 (28*3) Energy.

Other Golems will have their Energy raised by various added traits – such as increased DR for a Marble Golem, Weakness Fire and DR: Ablative for a Wood Golem and Body of Metal Meta-Trait for an Iron Golem.

Description: A Homunculus is a miniature humanoid crafted from the very body fluids of the caster – don’t ask more specific questions unless you want more specific details! Once brought to “life” by the homunculus serves as not only a perfect “guinea pig” for experiments, but may also be used as a low-powered scout or a basic source of willing magical energy. A Caster may only have one Homunculus active at a time.
