Mannagram Pocketwatch

A spring-driven pocket chronometer made of silver with brass internals, 16 amethyst jewel bearings and rich gold inlay on both the case and mother-of-pearl face. An extra button activates the rigging, which cast the Manna Gram spell (P:SM p8) at skill 22 with a Quirk only on a 17+. The watch enables its owner/operator to instantly send a message of 200 words or less to anyone on the planet who has a similar watch if they know that person’s name. The recipient knows who sent and can decline if wished. It has 6 charges and recharges one every 3 hours in Normal Mana, Neg. weight, $1,200.

Arcane Lockpick

A 4 inch silver pick attached to a silver and gilt-gilt box about the size of a deck of cards, often decorated with engraved scenes. A switch activates the spell, Lockpick (TRPM p46), which instantly opens any mechanical lock touched by the pick The spell is cast at 18 skill and Quirks on a 16+’ The device has 5 charges and recharges one use every 40 minutes in Normal Mana. 0.5 lbs, $900.

Belt Of Hasting

A belt of shimmering, black, DR 2 unicorn hide embossed with scenes of running and fencing, with gold leaf laid into the embossment. The buckle is of silver, enamel and gold filigree with a cabochon amethyst in the center. When pressed, this gem activates a Haste spell (TRPM p44) which raises the wearer’s Move (and thus Dodge & Move) by 2. The spell is cast at skill 22 with a Quirk only on a 17, the effect lasts an hour. The device has one charge that regenerates every 4 hours. 1 lb, $750.

Belt Of Proof

A belt of shimmering, black, DR 2 unicorn hide embossed with shield motifs, with gold leaf laid into the embossment. The buckle is of silver, enamel and gold filigree with a cabochon garnet in the center. When pressed, this gem activates a Ghost Shirt spell TRPM p43) which provides a DR 6 forcefield against physical attacks only. The spell is cast at skill 22 with a Quirk only on a 17+, the effect lasts 30 minutes. The device has one charge that regenerates every 4 hours.* 1 lb, $1,200.*

Stunning Pistol

A broad-barreled weapon of bronze, covered in gold filigree work, with mother-of-pearl inlays, looking somewhat like a pistol-sized blunderbuss to the casual observer. When triggered, the device casts a Mental Stun spell (Mind Path, Lesser Control Mind w Affliction -10%, -2 to save, 17 energy) which causes the victim to be mentally stunned (B420) for at least a turn and recover thereafter on an IQ-2 roll. The spell is cast at skill 22 with a Quirk only on a 17+. The weapon uses Beam Weapons (Pistol) skill and has acc 2, RoF 1 and a range of 20 yards. The device has 5 charges which regenerate at a charge every 2 hours. 3 lbs, $2,500.

Arcane Hunting Rifle

An exceptionally well made Lancaster-pattern rifle with gold inlay designs on all parts. An arcane artifice built into the stock can be switched on at will, and then firing the rifle will charge the bullet with a Magic Bullet (P:SM p8) which adds a linked 3d+3 (2) pi++ attack to the bullet damage. The spell is cast at skill 22 with a Quirk only on a 17+. The weapon has Acc +2 over a normal Lancaster Rifle and has Malf 17, but otherwise has identical stats. It has 3 charges and recharges each charge in only 4.5 hours. 9 lbs, $4,000.

Fiery Crossbow Of DOOOM!!!

An exceptionally well crafted Composite Crossbow of rare hardwood, with gold inlay designs featuring fire motifs. An arcane artifice built into the stock can be switched on at will, and then firing the bolt will charge it with a Fireball spell (TRPM p42) which adds a linked 3d6 external fire attack to the bolt’s Thrust+5 pi damage. The weapon is Acc 6 but otherwise is identical to the Composite Crossbow stats on Low-Tech p 76. It has 4 charges and recharges each in only 2 hours.
