Royal Rangers

The Royal Rangers are an elite New British force which specializes in reconnaissance and special forces missions against distant targets. They number around 1,400 men at any time, organized into nine companies, three of which are comprised entirely of troops from the Haudenosaunee Protectorate.

Begun by Major Robert Rogers in 1755, the Rangers have become the Kingdom’s premier experts in living off the land, assymetric warfare and deep-penetration raids. They have seen action in kicking the French out of the North, against the Spanish and in expeditions to the ruins of Europe. The Rangers number many minor mages among their numbers, and are considered adept at hand-to-hand combat as well as sharpshooting.

They are headquartered and garrisoned at Castle Island in Boston Bay.
